Al-Barr The Fountain-Head of Truth The Source of All Goodness, The Righteous,
The One who is kind to His creatures, who covered them with His sustenance
and specified whoever He willed among them by His support, protection, and special mercy.

At-Tawwaab The Ever-Acceptor of Repentance The Relenting,
The One who grants repentance to whoever He willed among His creatures
and accepts his repentance.

الْمُنْتَقِمُ
Al-Muntaqim The Retaliator The Avenger, The One who victoriously prevails over His enemies
and punishes them for their sins. It may mean the One who destroys them.

العَفُوُّ
Al-Afuww The Supreme Pardoner The Forgiver, The One with wide forgiveness.

الرَّؤُوفُ
Ar-Ra’oof The Benign One The Compassionate, The One with extreme Mercy.
The Mercy of Allah is His will to endow upon whoever He willed among His creatures.

مَالِكُ الْمُلْكِ
Maalik-ul-Mulk The Eternal Possessor of Sovereignty The One who controls the Dominion
and gives dominion to whoever He willed.

ذُوالْجَلاَلِ وَالإكْرَامِ
Zul-Jalaali-wal-Ikram The Possessor of Majesty and Honour The Lord of Majesty and Bounty,
The One who deserves to be Exalted and not denied.

      (or utter impious speech against) His Names. They will be requited

      for what they used to do. (Surat Al-A’raf 7:180)

      Say, “Call upon Allah or call upon the Most Merciful. Whichever [ Allah name]

      you call – to Him belong the best names.” And do not recite [too]

      loudly in your prayer or [too] quietly but seek between that an [intermediate]

      way. (Surah Al-Isra 17:110)

      And your Lord says, “Call upon Me; I will respond to you.” Indeed,

      those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible.

      (Surah Ghafir 40:60)

      Allâh! Lâ ilâhla illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He)!

      To Him belong the Best Names. (Surat Taha 20:8)

Allah, the Exalted, says:
“Truly, the Muttaqun (the pious and righteous persons) will be amidst Gardens
and water-springs (Jannah). (It will be said to them): `Enter therein (Jannah),
in peace and security.’ And We shall remove from their breasts any deep feeling
of bitterness (that they may have). (So they will be like) brothers facing each other
on thrones. No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to
leave it.” (Al-Hijr 15:45-48)
“(It will be said to the believers of Islamic Monotheism): ‘My Servants!
No fear shall be on you this Day, nor shall you grieve. (You) who believed in Our Ayat
(proofs, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and were Muslims (i.e., who submit
totally to Allah’s Will, and believe in the Oneness of Allah). Enter Jannah,
you and your wives, in happiness.’ Trays of gold and cups will be passed round them;
(there will be) therein all that inner-selves could desire, and all that eyes could delight
in and you will abide therein forever. This is the Jannah which you have been made to
inherit because of your deeds which you used to do (in the life of the world).
Therein for you will be fruits in plenty, of which you will eat (as you desire).”
(Az-Zukhruf 43:68-73)

Who sent down serenity upon the hearts of the believers so that they may increase
even more in their faith. To Allah ˹alone˺ belong the forces of the heavens and the earth.
And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

The Final Sermon of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) – A message of all times for all people
After praising and thanking الله
O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year, I shall ever
be amongst you again. Therefore, listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and
take these words to those who could not be present here today.
O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as sacred, so regard the life
and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to
their rightful owners.
Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord,
and that He will indeed reckon your deeds. Allah has forbidden you to take usury (interest),
therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to
keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity. Allah has judged that there shall be no
interest and that all the interest due to Abbas ibn Abdul Muttalib (Prophet’s uncle) shall
henceforth be waived.
Beware of Satan, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able
to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.
O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have
rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under Allah’s trust and
with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and
clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners
and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom
you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste.
O People, listen to me in earnest, worship Allah, say your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during
the month of Ramadan, and give your wealth in Zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to.
All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab
has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any
superiority over white except by piety and good action.
Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one
brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless
it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.
Remember, one day you will appear before Allah and answer your deeds. So beware,
do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.
O People, no prophet or apostle will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well,
therefore, O People, and understand words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things,
the Qur’an and my example, the Sunnah and if you follow these you will never go astray.
All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and
may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly.
Be my witness, O Allah, that I have conveyed your message to your people.
Thus our beloved Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) completed his final sermon, and upon it,
near the summit of Arafat, the revelation came down:
…This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My Grace upon you,
and have chosen Islam for you as your religion…
(Quran 5:3)
